Labs are only about 22-24 inches at the shoulders. He is like a lab in many ways in that he knows no strangers. Of course, we don't get many visitors, so I don't know what he would do if a stranger showed up at home. But, he likes people, especially children. Does he have the size of the Pyrenees or the Lab? Both are very nice dogs!My brother and his wife have a Great Pyrenees named Chato. He is so gentle and sweet. They live in Alaska.hugs SharonThis email is a natural hand made product. I have been looking for a dog to train as an assistance dog for over a year. Finally, I have a good candidate. He was listed with the Northwest Great Pyrenees rescue: http://northwestgreatpyrenees.com/available.htmlA member of the service dog group I belong to found him on Petfinder. He was living with his foster dad in Ritzville, WA until yesterday. His foster dad brought him to my home yesterday. He has great indoor manners and is learning. His foster dad has three purebreed Pyrs of his own and said that this dog is not purebred. However, his best guess is that he may be part lab as well. He definitely has a lab face. His foster dad said that he is around a year old, probably not much more than a year. He shouldn't get too much taller; but, will probably fill out more.
