Hip resurfacing in South West of England

I am going to see my doctor tomorrow to try and get him to refer me

to a Orthopaedic consultant that has been trained to do Hip

Resurfacing.

The choices i have are Mr Shardlow from Yeoville District Hospital,

Mr G Banister or Mr j Eldridge from Southmead Hospital in Bristol, or

Mr M Burwell from the Royal Unit Hospital in Bath.

Has anyone been resurfaced by one of these surgeons. I would like

some information as i do not know anything about the surgoens.

I could also use any information that could help me perswade my

Doctor to refer me to one of these surgoens for operation on the NHS.
