Hi all,

I am getting more exercise than ever since in the last five years. I am

bending and lifting stuff I must and should and stuff I shouldn't :-(. All in an

effort to get my apartment to the liking of my up coming second inspection.

All in all my muscles are happy. I do believe sitting on disability since

1999 was not good. But here is what is bothering me. I lost over twenty pounds

this year and I am < > flexible. The mild curve in my back that I never

cared about seems worse. I get mid chest pain when I sit up a certain way. I

am okay until I lay down and my back is flattens for about ten minutes. Then

if I try to sit up as in a " sit-up " I cannot. I get mid chest pain. I wonder

did I pull a muscle or what? I have to turn on my right, hold my breath and

finally get up. Push in on my increased curved spine between my shoulders blades

helps. But I am amazed I can push the curve in so easily. Chest pain is unusual

for me ... except when my high BP drops too low.

To clarify again. It only happens after laying flat on my back. And when I

first try to get up. After I am standing I feel okay. My new RN called today and

I told hear about this. I " complained about all the impossible work I am

doing. " My health aide is still pending. Meanwhile I have a repeat fire

inspection

June 11th.

Yesterday, I moved my " computer table " to the bedroom. It is one of these

long conference type folding tables. After setting it up I laid flat for about

ten minutes. It was getting up that I got that chest pain :-(.

I wonder with my weight loss and the left side scoliosis that never bothered

me is " EDSing " on me. I know the curve was never this severe before or perhaps

it was hidden under my lost rolls of fat, lol. Caro
