,

I haven't been on the computer for a few days, so I didn't catch this until

today...

In the past my PT has used and will be using kinesio tape quite a bit on me.

It's about the only tape that the adhesive doesn't rip my skin off, leave a

bruise or cause the skin to break down under it.

Kinesio tape has been used on my thumb, wrist, and forearm with great results.

It sure helps the swelling and gives support at the same time, without

over-stressing the joint like some tapes have done. It's the only one I want

used on me now.

Hope if it's used on you it works as well. :D

Let me know what your experience is like.

Also the therapists where I go want to learning all they can about EDSers and

their PT experience. So they'd find it of interest too. They even have an EDS

file for reference that was started when I became a patient. :) Sure will be of

help with any other EDSer that might come along.

I've just heard about kinesio-taping. Looks interesting - better than the

taping that the PT used on me last year. Anyway - I was just wondering if

anyone had experience with it and what you thought.
