Guest guest Posted November 10, 2011 Report Share Posted November 10, 2011 Well, the bad news is it seems my PC is terminal...the hard drive finally gave out. The guy came out to look at it and that was his primary diagnosis. That is the bad news. The GOOD news is he has a new one for sale in his shop...one they built right there, and he will not only sell it to me for under $300 but he will let me make payments! And since these few months are the ones that are easier on my power bill I will have enough extra per month that I will be able to do it. I offered him $100 a month for 2 months then the balance on the third and he said fine, and will bring the new unit out on Monday!!! WOOHOO!!! An it has win 7, till now I have been still using XP, except when I've use Robbin's, cuz HE has 7 on his. The PC guy (Rick) only has the one for sale and so the timing could not possibly be better. My tower has seriously needed replacing for some time now, so I am delighted. Will have to use Robbin's PC till then (like I am right now) but that's fine, it is only for a few days then I will have my new baby to have fun with...get to download all the goodies and games I like, a fresh start, will keep me busy for at least a week getting it to where I'll want it YAAY something to do!!!! ~*~Akiba~*~ Pragmatic Visionary ISIS!
