Guest guest
From Ms. Skeptical, With this family, and my own background in study (which I never finished, lol) I have little chance of being anything but skeptical, when it comes to medical issues and 'Eastern' thought . So when we sat together at dinner, I was more aghast than you know at what happened. I never let anyone touch me, not because of any personal space issues, but simply because I can't stand falling apart. The RSD and spasming add their own flavor.. Not that you touched anything really, lol..thank you is all I can say!! I may not have said much at the time, but I really did feel quite a bit of relief. And what wasn't relieved I think would have been had we had more time..and no wheelchair:o). I saw my pain doc and Ortho this week. Both were very interested in what you're doing, and in what you've found working with energy. I related my experiences, and both of them said that they felt people should feel free to explore modalities that work for them. My pain doc is especially good about admitting that he doesn't have all the answers, and that Western medicine has only begun to knock at the door. It wasn't long ago that you would never have found even accupressure in the pain clinic, only pharmacology and physiotherapy. You'll have to teach this to some more folks, or tell us what day to sit by the road. (Hwy 24-27 in the Central Piedmont of North Carolina, between Charlotte and Albemarle, next to a rusty mailbox) Just thought I'd pass this along. ~Jean~
