Hi I had been wondering what was going on with you, hubby and mom-in-law. Some nursing homes are truly despicable. My mother was in a few that should have been torched and most employees arrested for abuse/neglect. Then finally she was a wonderful nursing home and thrived. I'm glad your mother-in-law doesn't have to stay away from her home. As Dorothy said "there's no place like home."How's the newest kitty addition to the household?What are you sewing? Here! Been kind of in stasis again, waiting to see what the next "Doctor"direction is.... have to make myself call the clinic and see what's goingon, have gotten almost to the point of phonophobia! We're still worrying with Himself's mother - she spent several days in a"nursing home" that would benefit most from a container of gas and a box ofmatches being applied to it, and they finally "sprung" her yesterday anddrove her home (well, to one of the daughters' houses). Took 5 hours tomake the 2 hour drive, but at least she's settled in as comfortably aspossible and hopefully no one is going to be silly enough to try and takeher to those doctors again...Otherwise, the winter curtains are up, and I'm doing some sewing andknitting, and getting ready for the Advent Fast.
