Wasn't that the most fun you've ever had?? NOT!!! My pre-op ones were done

by an x-ray tech that Dr. Boyd had trained personally. They shot my films,

checked them out, said " Who is your surgeon? Dr. Boyd?? Have to shoot it

again. These will not be acceptable to him! " So we got to do it

again. It did make me feel good though that he is such a perfectionist and

that they had so much respect for him.

Yeah,

I had " Healthsouth " in Phoenix, AZ to take mine. They did such a bad

job (overexposed) that I have to get them done again. Heathsouth is a

joke.

Does anyone know of a good imaging place in Phoenix AZ or around here?

I want to get this done ASAP, so I can send them to LA. next day.

At this point, I don't even care if I have to pay for them, I just

need an intelligent, competant xray tech, not the bimbos at

Healthsouth, or the like.

Thanks everyone.

I look upon it as training for my future career as a circus contortionist.

My preop ones were shot at the in-house X-ray at JRI, by Neil (the JRI

tech). My postop ones were shot in the LAOH radiology department.

Amstutz held them up to the light, and the first thing he said was

" Neil didn't shoot these, did he? They'll do, though " . I'm *glad*

they're picky.

I had a real problem on the post-op ones, because my legs kept falling

into internal rotation. Pre-op, my maximum internal rotation was -5

degrees (that's right, *negative* 5), so I had a lot of trouble

preventing them from flopping into internal rotation once I had the

surgery and had normal range in the joint again. I just wasn't used to

stabilizing in that direction after so many years. I ended up getting

a big block of foam just to keep them from doing that.
