Guest guest
Stacey, I have had this test several times. There are no side effects, no pain afterward and most describe the test as irritating. The needles are fine - like those used in acupuncture. I don't usually feel them at all, I am only aware of the electrical current and that is not enough to cause pain - it's enough to stimulate the muscle to get a reading on the scope. You will be able to drive, you will not need anyone with you and you will be able to work immediately following, I am certain of that. Good luck! Jill Re: EMGs Thank you mark for the reassuring answers. My main concern was having it done and then not being able to go to work that day (It is on my right wrist and I work on computers my entire shift). Do you recommend having someone go with me? Will I be able to drive home? Thanks in advance Stacey To learn more about EDS, visit our website: http://www.ehlersdanlos.ca
Guest guest
I took the bus home, actually, but I don't think there'd be any problem, cause I walked to the bus stop without difficulty. Well, OK, with no more difficulty than usual... M
