Guest guest
Of the different types of blood pressure medicines is there a type that vascular eds patients should stay away from? The ones that I know of are Vasodilators ACE II Inhibtors - stops the enzyme that tightens blood vessels. Resulting in dialated vessels. Calcium channel blockers -They are designed to prevent the entry of calcium ions into the muscle cells of the heart and blood vessels, causing these vessels to widen and relax Beta Blockers-They slow the heart beat, lessen the force with which the heart muscle contracts and reduce blood vessel contraction in the heart, brain, and throughout the body. Alpha Blockers- relaxes smooth muscle Thanks for any input. kim
