This course will provide valuable education and training for those paramedics who care for the intensive care patient during inter-facility transports. This course has been completely revamped to help prepare students to be successful in taking and passing the national Critical Care Paramedic Certification Exam. (CCP-C). More information about this process and exam can be found at: WWW.BCCTPC.orghttp://WWW.BCCTPC.org> Course EMSP 2458 Critical Care Paramedic Fall Schedule Fridays, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., August 27, 2010 to December 3, 2010. Students must complete approximately eight hours of clinical rotations each week. Prerequisites After meeting admission requirements to the college, students must: * Submit a Critical Care Paramedic Application form by August 10, 2010 * Be a practicing paramedic. * Be Certified or Licensed by the Texas Department of State Health Services. * Have minimum two years experience, or be a currently enrolled student in the paramedic associate degree program.
