I happened to be looking at the following Corin website

when I noticed the following reference

The Purchasing and Supply Association for the UK National Health Service demands

a proven 97% survivorship of an implant at 3 years and 90% survivorship of an

implant at 10 years (with revisions due to infection omitted)*.

QED - this is also true of THR prosthesis.
