Guest guest
Since Pixie (my 3 year old niece) wished for "a gift wrapped present with grift wrapping paper on it", we are giving her a sort of side gift, beside her "real" Christmas gifts (a book and some clothes). The side gift is a box filled with small gift wrapped presents. Nothing fancy, just things like crayons, pencils, small books (thin, small, picture books, of a brand that in Swedish are aptly named "pixie books"..., they cost about 1$ each), candy, etc. The box is a CD-box from IKEA, and we have decorated it with a wooden "P", that we have painted with gold paint, and closed it with a red ribbon (to make it look more "Christmas-y").The idea is that she gets the side gift before the Christmas gifts are opened (in Sweden that is not on Christmas morning, but on Christmas eve, usually in the evening). That way she has a box to put all those small things (cards etc) in. Or, perhaps the more realistic alternative..., a box where her mother can put those small things aside...I have attached a photo of the box.love/Reb 1 of 1 Photo(s)
