Need status of FDA ok process

Greeting all!!

It has been about 1yr and 3 months since lbhr in Belgium and things

are still improving day by day. I still the occasional annoying pain

in the butt (piriformis syndrome-self diagnosed)if i sit too long,

but that too is getting better. I have lost 30 lbs since Christmas

by running on an ellipitical trainer 50 minutes 3 to 4 days a week

and swimming the other days with golf stuck in when ever possible.

Life is GOOD with the new hardware!!!!!

I am now checking on a few things for a friend of mine who is on

the verge of a hip replacement. The main question is the what is the

status the FDA approval for resurfacing here in the states? We work

for the same company so we know already our insurance will not cover

the procedure unless it is officially blessed by the FDA. My friend

at this point is not interested in Belgium but then again has not

start researching alternatives available to him. I feel once he gets

to this site and pokes around a bit he will get the whole picture

and make an appropriate decision based on his need. Greetings to
