Dear Steve and ,

Thanks so much for the detailed advice! I am so grateful to you

experienced surfacehippies who've been to Belgium and can answer my

bucketful of questions. I've heard from some folks already and have

gotten a variety of answers to my next question (mostly to stop

worrying), but what was your personal experience on this: What

medicine did you get for pain and did you ask for more if it didn't

work? I'm not brave about pain.

I'll get the baggy clothing--I never thought of the advantage of

nylon sliding. Oh--and what about stitches? Did you have staples

and have to have someone take them out after you got home?
