I had one of those but could not stand the noise.

They are not supposed to make noise but EYE could hear something and it

bugged the stew out of me.

My brother has something called " fresh air " I think.

I will email him and ask.

He has 3 cats, I am very allergic

The day he got it I came to his house and stayed till late in the evening

without even having to take a pill at all!!

Very impressed!

They are pricy but I am thinking that if you had script from a doctor that

might be covered.

Not sure about Medicare however.

Similar sort of question...

.....so what's actually the answer with ionic air cleaners? I have read

not-very-reputable (because they're made by a rival) reports that they're

bad for

lungs. I wonder why, then, Sharper Image got an " award seal " from the Asthma

and

Allergy Foundation of America and the British Allergy Foundation? Are they

industry fronts? Anyone have any idea here? In Houston, air is an extremely

important issue, and I haven't been able to find reliable data...
