Hi all,

The incision from my pacemaker was doing well. The dressing fell off and so did

the steristrips and it looked fine and completely closed i was so happy it gave

me relief. This was monday afternoon, that evening i noticed blood on my shirt

and saw it was opening up. I put a new dressing on it and called the doctor

tuesday, they never called back but my appt was today at 2 anyways. The doctor

and nurse were both upset. I had called friday morning about the bleeding fromt

he incision and she said it was normal but had told the lady that schedules

appointments to schedule me asap like get me in that day. She scheduled me for

thursday, then moved it to wednesday at 4 then moved it to 2. The doctor was

mad, he gave me his personal cell phone number if i have any more problem. He

put me on a strong antibiotic and i had him prescribe me some nystatin for the

thrush i know i will get from it and he told me to change the dressing everyday

and i see him again on monday. He said for now it's superficial with no sign of

infection but he said if it gets deeper the pacemaker will have to come out and

he'll do debridement and a few days later put it back in. He did say i use my

pacemaker about 20% of the time. So at least i know i made the right decision

with this surgery.

That;s about all that's going on for now,
