Come to think of it, May 20 is my first anniversary for that one. I feel it very occasionally on the older one (Oct. 2001) too. I don't worry much about it. There's no pain and I just tell myself there's metal in there. Otherwise I'd never know. Des

Joyce (Dr Gross, LHR) sungold518@... slippage or motion in my resurf hip Hi I am 7 weeks post op with a resurfaced hip as i do more exercise(within the guidelines) i experience a slippage or slight motion in my new joint this happens very occasionally but does happen when i either shift my hips in standing position or raise my thigh upwards in a standing postion. My local orthapedist (not a resurf surgeon) said it was my synovial fluid shifting around the device. my phy therapist feels this might be correct as i have been doing a fair amout of exercise and thinks i might have inflamed my bursar and have increased my synovial fluid. wondering if others had this reaction or have feedback. i have not gotten a call back from my resurf surgeon yet thanks steven
