Guest guest
So I had an appointment with my neuro this morning. There was good news! In the last six months, I've only gained 1 new lesion. Another lesion has gotten bigger, but only 4 millimeters - and I think that's the largest. They are no longer counting individual lesions, just saying " 30 - 40 " , but they said they are all small. But we are still changing medication to Tysabri. We filled out all the paperwork today, and she wants me to continue with the Copaxone until we find out that I'm approved for it. Once that happens, I stop the Copaxone, and the infusion center in her building will be setting me up for my first infusion. Unfortunately, I am just hitting my refill point on the Copaxone, so I have to order a whole new month's supply - I waited until today to order it (2 days left) because I was hoping that she would tell me I should stop taking it today. After 2 or 3 infusions, I can make arrangements to have it done closer to home - probably at my local hospital. In two months I go back to see her. Sharon, your evening sounds wonderful. I'm so glad that you are getting the rain you need.Tina
