Guest guest
Just came back from seeing the neurosurgeon. He sent me for an MRI at 11 a.m. I took it with me back to his office for a 2 p.m. appt and at 3:45 he came in. He apologized that he took so long but he had two complicated cases before me. He asked me my cervical symptoms and said that I had so much hardware that it was impossible to tell whether I had nerve involvement w/0 a myleogram. Then he pulled out another MRI and said, \ " what problems are you having with your lumbar spione. I showed him the report that the EMG said that S1 nerve was abnormal. I also told him about the failed L-3/L4 fusion and that the L2 was going fast. All the time he was looking at the MRI and nodding. He left the room saying he wanted to look at my old MRI and compare them. I walked over to the X-ray screen and looked at the picture. There was no hardware showing. I also realized that I couldn\'t possibly have a lumbar MRI because I was only in the machine up to my shoulders. Then I looked at the corner of the xray and the name on it was M Camp-obviously not me! I ran out of of the exam room waving the xray, but he had already gone to see another patient! I showed it to the nurse who told me to go back to the room and wait for the doc to come back-another 30 minutes. He apologized when I give him the news but said that the MRI showed everything that I said was wrong with my back. So some poor guy is wondering what happened to his film and has no clue as to what he is facing. So now I need a myelogram from head to toe but I\'m putting it off til August. I\'m not going to miss the EDNF conferece! Judy/Atlanta The Ehlers Danlos National Foundation http://www.ednf.org'>www.ednf.org
