Guest guest
Kathleen, My Turn...My Friend, As stated in my records from Dr Milhorat it is described as " visual phenomenon " .....I have it all the time. To add some humor... I just enjoy the " Light Show " . I do certainly understand though and it can be very frustrating....especially if you are a reader or as in your case sewing. (which actually I am good at but don't admit it...**hehe**) I suppose it is one of those chiari things we ..or I should say...that I have adapted to. For all your wonderful help to this group over all the years you see it all bright and shinny in full color.....straight from your heart! I've tried to describe it to some doctors, but they don't know what to do about it. > It isn't quite double, it is more of a shadow. The shadow is normally below and a little to the left. It isn't as dark as the text, but it is there, and makes for difficult reading, sewing.....

Guest guest
I have the same type of vision problems. Very hard to explain. Instead of a shadow, I see more of a " lighter " thing. It's kinda like a shadow, but lighter than the original. (So like a reverse shadow I guess). I also saw my eye doctor & he said everything was fine. I have no idea what to do now. I guess just accept it & work around it (that's what I've been doing for the last year anyway). If you figure it out, please let me know. Sorry I couldn't be of more help, just wanted to let you know that you aren't alone. a in WA Vision > Hi Gang, > > Today is one of those days that my vision continues to get worse. Guest guest
vision Me again - close up vision. I wore reading glasses for about 5 years but I can now read without them even small print. I wander if the meds I am on helped. I am on Neuronton Lamicton and Tofranil Slow Mag Slow K ??????? But I must also say in the same breath that I've got 'fall outs' with my eyes if that's the right way to say that, meaning that some letters and words are missing as I read which makes reading a labouring job as I must concentrate so much. Best wishes for all the group that is recovering from ops or preparing. Praying for you. Reinetta RSA
