Guest guest Posted June 22, 2004 Report Share Posted June 22, 2004 MM:Hello, I have been tested fop potassium, it was fine, they say it is because my spine swells and presses up against th nerve,due to the LUPUS. I have been going through this for 16 years or so,it started after my son was born...I don't have a Rheumy because the only one in town wont see me.we don't get along,I demand that a doctor listen to me,I tell them what I think(nicely)but he almost killed me and my son,when I was 7mo.pg. and he didn't like what I had to say...He now has a LUPUS Specialist in his office but refuses to let me see him. I have only been given prednisone...it does work for a short time then my body will over ride it.The dose is to high to stay on for long so my family doc will only give it when needed... I have an Apt.with him on Wednesday and plan on talking to him about all I have learned from the LUPIES web site...I have a page and a half of things to talk to him about... How are you doing? I hope you are resting up..I took care of my Grandfather...He had congestive hart failure...So please take care of yourself... Thank you...
