Hi Shirley, I'm Robyn adn have Hep C and Lupus. I have been told by

at least 3 different DRs that there is no connection between the 2.

I probably contracted Hep c about 30 years ago and was dx 3 years

ago with it.It is a very slow progressing virus. I was just dx with

Lupus in March, although I may have had it a little longer, (who

knows for sure). Hep C is contracted thru the blood: tranfusions, IV

drugs (shared needles), tattoos, sharing a razor, manicures or even

a toothbrush. Very rarely is it transferred sexually. I've been

married for 15 years and my husband doesn't have it. One thing to

keep in mind is that the blood with the virus can be dried blood and

still carry live virus. So be careful cleaning up anyone else's

blood. I've wondered if maybe my Lupus developed because my body has

been fighting this virus for a long time, but, once again, I've been
