Guest guest
Welcome Mandi. I have a girl friend who wants to retire in Savannah in a few years. I am trying to talk her out of it. It’s a beautiful town but I would miss her too much. I’m glad you got insurance. We are a friendly group from all over the place. Say, do they still have that restaurant there where you have to wait in line to get in, it’s crowded. They seat you family style at a big table with strangers and everyone passes the bowls of food around like a big Thanksgiving dinner. I loved that place. We talked to people from all over, including locals. From: Sent: Sunday, June 20, 2004 2:33 AM To: LUPIES Subject: Introduction Hey all, my name is Mandi. I'm 21, from Savannah, Ga, and I was diagnosed with both internal and cutaneous lupus in late 2001. I've got at least 20 books at home on SLE, and good news: my insurance kicks in next month at my new job! I know they won't cover the preexisting, so the only thing I can do is just play dumb and " forget " to mention it. I figure that's what's best for me anyways, b/c then I can get re-diagnosed and a second opinion all in one. Currently, I'm working full-time at the Savannah Morning News in Customer Service as a distpatcher. I live with my boyfriend, Joe (you'll see his name often as he's my support
