Guest guest
Hi Sue, Sorry, I would wish I could write more often. It's nice to hear from you. I'm flaring, including some itchy/painful spots. I had to smile about the pictures and your comment between It worsens every time. Birth marks are falling off, I don't know what that means. I have read in several informative brochures and sides there can be different sorts of rashes. Rashes that look differently, but also they can be painless and itchy free too, like mostly mine are. Also i don't want you to start scratching again, only for speaking of it. I hope things went well with the blood-work and especially I hope you will not have to wait all too long for the results. I keep my fingers crossed for you. I hope you will let the list know, as soon as you heard the results of your blood-work. Thanks, I enjoyed your reply about the weather. Since I can't travel anymore, I just love it to hear anything about an area not all too familiar to me. I have a few friends living in Fl. They don't expose much about FL. unfortunately, in spite of my questions. It seems hard to live there, if you would have a sun allergy though. In general the seasons in Holland, look very much like the ones you describe of Indiana. What I notice here, is that we have less snow during the winters and the summers are hotter. Spring and autumn are about the same. Personally I like the autumn the most for the colored leaves, yet also for the stormy rainy days, especially in November. Perhaps, because I was born in November. Every season and weather condition have it's own beauty. Twenty years ago, I read an article the polar melting. Then there wasn't much proof of actually the polar melting down, caused a change in the weather circumstances worldwide. Over the last years there's much more proof of this. I wondered if you noticed something of this. It's not important. I mean, I just take an approach to learn to know you. For now, your in my thoughts and I hope the doctors might be wrong. My last partner has hepatitis B/S, the S for seropositive. This is a kind of hepatitis, which can be transferred through small skin wounds and blood on blood contact. I don't have any knowledge of Hep. C. Yet, I was glad to see other people could help you. In Dutch, besides "love", we can close off by saying, " met lieve groeten", directly translated into "with sweet greetings", so I'm sending you, in direct and literal translation, my sweet greetings to you! Micha. Re: re: Sue/Introduction new member Hi Micha! It was so good hearing from you! Yes these rashes can be a problem. I am really not bothered by them like I know many are. This is all so new to me as I was just dnx with lupus about 5 or 6 months ago. I just get the rash on my arm and right now I am not in a flare..its barely visible to anyone else...I can see it jus below the skin. I have also noticed a pinkish red rash on my legs that is ichy..it seems to be different than the one on my arms.(Gee all this rash talk makes me want to scratch!!) You asked about the Florida weather..its usually very nice this time of year....warm during the day....cool at night and so sunny all the time! Florida is a called the "Sunshine State". But usually about June we start getting our rainy season...everyday! it will rain..usually in the afternoon and will bring its friend called humidity...its get so unbearable!! It will get in the 90's with the humidity 80%...you walk out the door and it just hits you in the face. usually by about October/November it will start to cool a bit and actually start chilly at times. It doesn't really change seasons here like it does in other states..I am from Indiana where we had snow every winter...beautiful fall season with color everywhere ,spring where everything looks new and you see buds of new life and summers...hot as well as humid. Here in Fl you get the the year around sunshine with levels of heat..and I do love it!! The sky seems to go on for ever...in Indiana we lived by the steel mills and there was always a dark cast to the sky. Well...guess I have told you all you'd ever want to know... Love from----->Sue
