Hey, , I know how hard it is to cope with this disease and small children. I adopted all four of

mine while I was getting much worse, health wise. At least, one of them was a teenager before I got

her, but the boys were all toddlers. (Yes. I truly am insane. LOL)

I learned early on to organize us all. Since I also worked full time, it was necessary to train the kids

to my schedule, and it wasn't easy, but in the long run it paid off. My kids all understand when I need

rest, are self amusing, and can fix simple meals for themselves if necessary. When they were small,

I took rests when they did, and made them all nap at the same time each day. Whether or not they

slept was irrelevant, as long as they stayed in their beds, quiet for at least an hour. That hour was

a Godsend to me, and helped me make it through some very tough times. Being stubborn and not

letting this disease dictate every minute of every day is a hard thing to do, but it pays in the end.

(I have also learned to relax and love my dust bunnies.)

Keep writing to the group, honey. It really helps to vent, and as a place to come for solace, comfort,

It is newbie - here

Well, I am swelling by the minute. Hurting like crazy. My flare

has begun. I fell really bad. Can't just rest cuz' of my little

kiddos (3 of them). They are great, but their life doesnt slow down

cuz' Mommy isnt feeling so good.

I am to my witts end with this lupus. Every time I think I am

feeling much better...pow! You get hit again and again. I guess I

better just deal with it (ha) cuz' it doesn't go away...ever!

Well, thanks for listening. I am not looking forwad to the nmext

week due to the way I am feeling today.
