Good Night Athena, I hope the meds work soon and you can get sleep. I know, I have this problem too and then I can have weeks that it seems as if sleeping is the only thing I can do.

It's afternoon in Holland, stormy weather outside, while I'm informing myself about contracts and taxes stuff. Very boring.

It make me sleepy.

I hope the pain lessens and you can rest.

Sweet dreams.

Micha.

Hi Athena, I'm glad you have some pain relief.

I should start the anti-depressant, which is a pain med. as well, to see if it will help to lift some of my pain.

That's nice you keep busy. I hope you study a topic of your interest.

I keep busy too, or I am kept busy with bureaucracy. I loose much energy on these phone-calls and than there's not much left for the rest of the day. I had almost been speaking to the city council last week, for my rights as a handicapped person to have transportation, it s just one battle.

I do have a lot of these jammies days, for this exhaustion and I don't need to be in a flare for it.

The choice may often be, can I wash and dress, or cook a dinner. I loose much my precious energy on asking for an okay to be disabled and than get ill. I don't wonder, but have all those organizations I need to phone to get one thing done, I would go without all or the most, if I wouldn't need any of them so badly.

Sorry, I must feel happy for having or about to receive, any help all.

Tomorrow I need to talk to my buddy and to tell, the first time I cancelled the appointment, I am not as she said by phone " a bag of salt", yet to tell her what it is to have a flare. I'm about to get a bit messy again.

The website I'd had want to send you, is since last week under reconstruction. Perhaps longer. I wasn't so smart to have a look in advance. I can send you a tourist site, but that's like advertising and I like you to have a view in a non-advertising site.

So, I thought to translate a poem of mine, to make up for the site under reconstruction. Perhaps you hate poetry and that's alright surely.

If you like poetry, you don't know if you will like mine :-))

For a half hour a week, I show such an endurance and the rest of the week, I'm only reactive instead of active.

I'll try to give it a go, my freely translation of my own poems, for I think it will give one perspective at the Dutch landscape, so different from 's park, for instance.

Btw, Greece won the European football match!

I don't like sports on t.v., yet I thought of you when I followed these matches. It was exciting.

I was relieved when Holland lost, some quietness around here.

My great excitement was before, the OLYMPIC flame was run through our street here.

I wished something for us all, for our health. These Olympic games, I know it's ridiculous, yet it feels as a kind of magic, from my childhood.

It doesn't happen often, I visit friends.

I only have material for court things, and while I think to know jury members may not talk about the cases, I wish you a non-stressful case. Recently, I saw a movie, forget the tittle of the movie and the actor's name, never was good in remembering actors than a few of my interest- the message was not to study while waiting for being in the jury, but it was a sixties movie.

Hopefully, things have changed since. I hope this jury duty is not stressful to you and you can rest as much as you can.
