Hello To -Anne and all:

I have met the actual criteria for RA and LUPUS . Do you have access to that

information? I can provide it to you if you need it.

Over the past several years I have had continuous fevers, pleurisy once, mouth

sores, joint pain, high ANA -1280. and sun sensitivity. Then I started to have

the fatigue, and intense joint pain, and swelling lasting more than an hour etc.

The meds that I take are:

Enbrel, injectible

Methotrexate

Mobic

Plaquenil

Ultram

Folic Acid

Antidepressant

Provigil

My ANA has stayed at 640. I am RF NEGATIVE.

All other lab tests are normal. The MRI's on my hands showed several erosions

ie: Erosive Disease.

My symptoms are pretty well managed. I have to be really careful not to get

over exposed to the sun. I live in Los Angeles, and I love to be outdoors. I

will say that I am so much better this summer than last summer. I really got

sick after going to Hawaii (I didn't believe the doctor about sun sensitivity

and ended up really sick and in the hospital.)

I have tried to find information in the literature about having both RA and

Lupus. There really isn't that much. I did find information about an overlap

of autoimmune diseases, but it is not the same as having both.

How long have you been having symptoms etc.? Give me an update on how you are

doing.

PS: I have been to London many times. My step dad is English. He went to

Oxford, and wow, that is such a beautiful campus and town. He and my mom spend

several months a year in and around London.
