Still in denial...because my fibro symptoms come and

go. except for the insomnia and night pain (although

it flucturates greatly). Haven't found anything to

help without detrimental side effects. Just told the

head of the sleep disorders clinic when she asked how

my fibro was, I said I didn't think I had it. When I

was diagnosed, I was on all kinds of meds and

extremely sensitive. Anyway, reading the book , I am

classic case although the doctor said I wasn't but he

did turn my name in to someone doing a study on fibro

patients. So, I just do what I can to survive. It

would be nice to get more than an hour an a half sleep

at one time. Star

Hello ,

I had the same problem with my insurance and went to a local surgeon here in

Oregon. I was also diagnosed with MS 2 years ago because of the symptoms I

was having, but tests for MS were showing up negative.

I would find out how many patients these doctors have handled with Chiari. I

was glad that a local surgeon had done many of these surgeries.

Hope this helps.
