The move is on.....

Well I went to the apartment and started the cleaning process. Boy was

I hurting last night. I took half a pain pill (didn't want to be foggy)

and got cleaned up and had a bible study at 6:30. I went to bed early

(for me that is) and slept pretty good with the help of 2 ex.strength

tylenol pm's. I am staying here this morning and packing some more. I

have to take my Mom to the dentist at 1 and then I have an appt. at 3

with the counselor. I asked Mom more than a week ago not to make any

appt. this week or next but she did anyhow. Since I had one too it

didn't bother me too much because I can pack this mornng and then rest

up by keeping these appts. I have to meet the kids over at the apt. at

5 tonight so they will help me wash down the rest of the walls. Also

will be back tomorrow night to finish up. I couldn't do all this

without help.......I didn't quite realize the degree of my pain or

strength and lack of energy until this move. I am glad I hired a moving

company. I can move during the day and not worry if enough men show up

to help. I originally went with a reg. moving co. and then soeone gave

me the name of a man who does this privately and he was $25 more but no

hourly rate for over the 4 hours. So I went with him because the Moving

co. sent me a letter and added on an extra hour to begin with that upped

their price to $350 and said that more time might be

needed..........yes, if they moved like snails. I just got a bad vibe

from them. And I learned to go with my gut instinct.

It was 90° last week and today they called for snow and a freeze

warning last night. Go figure !!!!!!!

BTW, any who said prayers for my friend Patti,,,thanks. She is on the

mend. She had menigitis caused by the herpes virus. She is being sent

home on IV's today if all the tests come back ok. Yipee, I get my good

friend back. Now if she would just get home from their Florida vacation
