I was just randomly looking at some websites and saw that hair loss

is listed as a CFS symptom and Heart Palpatations...

I have never seen this..ans as I am losing my hair then i should be

for thepast 6 months I am wondering why my Dr didnt say it was a

symptom...

how common is this?

also..the heart palpatation... I have a heart murmor and only in the

past 10 months or so I have been getting palpatations..

I think they r palpatations...

heart racing and feeling my heart pounding yes

but I am also getting this pressure in my chest..a tightness when i

feel my heart rate increase... for a few seconds during it I feel as

though iam holding my breath and the pressure increases..I feel a

need to call out or begin to panic but i actually cant...

is this palpatations or seomthing else?... it happens

rarely..although 3 times in past 2 days..

my GP wanted to put me on a heart monitor..but he always says next

time or another time..and enevr does it..because it so rearely

happens i dont think wearing a monitor for a week would actually get

me a result.

i also thought the latest heart onset was as a result of taking a

new medication..

can any one explain what I am feeling in medical terms.??

cause when i tell my dr my heart goes all funny he looks at me

blank..smile..

Hi Fluttering Dove

I know what you are talking about with the palpitations. I ended up going to

a cardiologist cause I was afraid something was wrong with my heart. I had

the pain, pressure and tightness. I had a echo-gram and found out that two

of my arteries are blocked 40% each which is not serious enough for surgery,

just something to watch. But my cardiologist told me there is a joint

between the rib cage and breastbone. The doctor told me it was from either

my FMS or arthritis. He put me on Celebrex and for a while it helped but now

it is coming back but not as often as before. So all of your chest

discomfort could be another symptom of FMS.

This sounds an awful lot like a panic attack. Do you get these spells very

often. See, if the next time you have one, if something has happened that

has caused you to be stressed.

Of course, you don't need to be stressed to have these attaks. They can just

come over you for no reason.

what are palpitations?? I sometimes get an irregular heart beat, or 3 beats

instead of two, I feel all weird and breathless when it happens. My doc

didn't seem concerned about it, but he was such a jerk, I got a different one

(he actually said I was a fat headcase, and should get laid and I'd feel

better!!!!!) I talked my husband out of socking him.

That is how anxiety attacks happens. You don't have to be doing anything.

They just come on for no reason at all. I have had them when in bed,

reading, and all of a sudden, I have an anxiety attack.
