Sorry, but I will be the first to say from my personal experience that he is wrong, as it can cause Glaucoma, and it took my vision from 20/70 to 20/200 in four months of being on it. This may of been a rare occurance but it happened to me. For a lot of people it works really well, but there are risks with anything in life. God Bless, love, alyle-cheryl wrote:

A friend of mine did lose her vision temporarily while taking

Plaquenil, but she was taking 800 mg. per day. My daily dosage is

half of that. And, while scary, her vision returned about six weeks

after she stopped taking it. She said she thought it was because of

the high dosage.

I usually take Plaquenil for a month before I have to stop because

just after using it for a month my eyes are affected. My eyes start to

go blurry. I'm just effected by it THAT quick. I guess I'm sensitive

to the med.
