Guest guest Posted June 27, 2004 Report Share Posted June 27, 2004 I am not taking Plaquenil or Aralen anymore. I can’t afford it. I get Celebrex samples free. I also get some antidepressants free but ran out of money for all my other meds. I was on Neurontin and don’t have that anymore either. I feel pretty tired and sore but still making it. I feel like I am starting to get a bladder infection as I am out of the 2 meds for interstitial cystitis too. I know I am headed for sickness but what can I do? I was on Neurontin for a long time for the tingling, pins and needles with pain in my legs and feet. You know what? I don’t feel any worse without the meds. I don’t think they helped and I wasted my money. Before I quit I was going to raise my dose, who knows, that might have helped. I wish I could just chuck all these meds and Dr’s. From: Ellencland@... I just thought that I could give my self a break from all drugs. It worked for a few years, then the lupus came back.....I will never ever take myself off it again, as the long wait of 6-8 weeks for it to start working again is not worth it. I praise plaquenil.
