Guest guest
Jeani, I am glad you are back home. What an awful trip you took. You sure must have been sick for them to say you couldn’t be moved! I hope you feel better soon. From: cbabygirl48@... Sent: Saturday, June 26, 2004 8:38 PM To: LUPIES Subject: Re: Digest Number 5337 HI ALL! Just got out of the hospital! am feeling better-but i dehydrated something awful. and the headache got so bad that i was willing to do anything they wanted. i begged to be knocked out for 24 hours to break the cycle--but three doctors disagreed with me. now along with all the other meds i take i am on depacote and loract 650. don't let me forget the phengran to keep me from getting so sick while taking the depacote. I had to stay in a hospital 83 miles from home cause the first two days I wasn't stable enough to move (according to those doctors
Guest guest
Hi Jeani, As I saw the message from Cheryl to you. I thought that I would repost Deannas message to you. Hope this helps. God Bless, Love, aNote: forwarded message attached. I posted this the other day so I will repost it here for you. Hi everyone, Just wanted to touch base about this subject. I had never had a migraine before in my life until a few days before my first stroke which lead to the DX of lupus for me in 1/2000. Well for several years I suffered from migraines with no relief. MRI's, CT scans, etc. etc. specialist after specialist, treatment after treatment – nothing would work, and when it did it was for a very short period of time. Well finally this year I saw a migraine specialist and it was determined that the cause of my migraines was from my first major stroke and where one of the holes it left was, the other cause was from lupus. Well he told me about this medicine you can buy online and at certain drug stores like walgreens, walmart, etc. The name of this medicine is MigraHealth. http://www.migrahealth.com/ Ever since taking this I have been migraine free. I will get an occasional headache that Tylenol will take care of. I swear by this stuff. The other med that is the same as what I use is called Migraleve. http://www.migraine-advice.com/ I prefer the migrahealth and highly recommend it to everyone who suffers from migraines whether lupus related or not. It can't hurt to try it, it did take a few weeks for it to kick in just like a lot of our medicines do . I take 1 caplet twice daily and it has been a lifesaver. As many of the old lupies know, I suffered migraines 24/7 and was hospitalized for them several times – so they can tell you. The nice thing is with the migrahealth you can take it with many of our meds with no conflicts whatsoever. I take Cellcept, Methotrexate, paxil, allegra, zyrtec, lasix, and several other meds that the migrahealth does not interact with. The ingredients are riboflavin (Vitamin B2), Magnesium, and feverfew leaf. It does NOT contain yeast, milk, corn, wheat, gluten, soy, artificial flavors, or preservatives. The migrahealth website has coupons all the time for you to use in your local store, and for those who can't find it in the stores you can order it from the website itself like I have and it costs 19.95 a bottle, or you can buy 2 bottles for 36.95 or 3 bottles for 49.95. Let me know how you all do with this and best of luck to all of us who suffer from migraines… Hugs, Deanna LUPUS Serenity Prayer... Lord, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to hide the bodies of doctors I shot when they said, You're perfectly healthy, it's all in your head " > i have posted several times and have had no response. am i doing it right? > if not please let me know. as i am desparrate for some knowledge about this > migraine headache. and a little sympathy too. thanks jeani " The LUPIES Store " Come check out our store... http://www.cafepress.com/thelupies " The LUPIES Web Page " http://www.itzarion.com/lupusgroup.html " The LUPIES online photo albums!
