Guest guest
Barb, I think I would be crying if in your shoes. I know that pain in your hands all to well. Is there any way that you can work fewer hours or maybe retire soon? I know that I need to slow down, have had a migraine for about five days and it's starting to wear me down. I am cutting back as many activities as possible but their therapies and DR appointments just cant be changed sometimes. I just mostly want to stay strong enough for my surgery on the 7th. Take it easy at work okay? a
Guest guest
It is okay Barb, I made them promise it would be outpatient so they did the surgery at 6:00 am and then kept me until about half an hour ago, 9:00 here, if I promise to do NOTHING tonight until Friday earliest. They are so silly, like that's gonna happen. Anyway, I know that it is strange but when I was in the recovery room I was thinking about all of you guys and how it sucks that so many of us have to go through crap like this and I realized that I haven't heard anything from and started worrying about him. I figure I must have just missed a post here of there but you know how it is when something is on your mind. I couldn't lie down here until I logged on and looked for a post. They only poked me four times this time and then the anithesiologist (sp) came over and went ahead and put a line in my neck. That was so much better than all of these times that its been 12 and 13 sticks and they could have done this each time. Anyway, my ovary did not look good at all he said that it is deformed and an off color, whatever that is, but doesn't think it's anything like cancer. Also, they figured out what has happened to my veins that made them this way. A couple of years ago I had almost died from a staph infection and the used veincomiacin(sp) iv antibiotics. They said that is the strongest one there is other that chemo. Anyway, apparently it destroys your veins. They said that if I let nurses know ahead of time that I took that for so long they wont poke me so many times. Hopefully I wont need to and it wont be a problem! a Hey there girlfriend, I do not think you are overracting at all. I would nail them on the overmedication thing immediately. Contact someone in state licensing. I'm sure that is about the same in every state. I would also let your doctor know and request that he guide you in dealing with the home.
