Guest guest
Hello everybody I just have a couple of thoughts/questions that I've come across in some reading... Have any of you ever heard of or tried Guaifenesin treatment? I just got done reading a book called " What your doctor may NOT tell you about fibromyalgia " by Dr. St Amand and his theory is that fibromyalgia is a result of not enough energy being produced due to a phosphate retention which in turn leads to excess calcium being stored in our cells (the lumps and bumps of fm). His 'cure' is guaifenesin which somehow clears the cells of the phosphates which in turn gives the body more energy to get rid of the calcium deposits and then on to 'normal' functioning ... more energy, no pain. This sounded interesting but I'd never heard of it before and was just curious if any of you have any info or experience with it??? Also in the book he talks a bit about fm and hypoglycemia and fibroglycemia (both disorders combined) and was wondering if any of you have been diagnosed with both and what you do for it??? According to this book almost half of fm women also have hypoglycemia. Just wondering... Jen in Iowa
