Hello, I'm a newbie here. I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia last

year, although I've suffered for probably 7. I hope to be a helpful

particpant of this group. Since being diagnosed, I've been thru the

medication roulette... antidepressants, supplements, pain meds etc.

Recently I decided to try acupuncture. Although I've had only two

treatments, I've been pretty impressed with the control of my

backpain (unrelated to fibro). I have had no relief of my joints,

but he vowed to start working on those areas next week. Anyone else

has luck with acupuncture? I know there's a study they're looking

for participants in Washington DC. I've also heard they've got

research going on for hormone Relaxin but still in clinical trials

with excellent promise.

Hi,

Although I haven't tried that procedure, I have at home a

professional muscle stimulator (nope not a Tens unit nor a cheap TV

knock off--lol) and by using it on all my areas of RA & FMS, I get

alot of relief.
