I can tell you in my case, the pain is always changing/moving etc.It is very hard to have fibro, because you never know if the " new pain " is from the fibro or if something else is going on too.I did want to ask you if you are aware of the tender points related to fibro. These tender points are the source of alot of your pain.Like you not being able to wear a ponytail anymore. This is from the two tender points in the back of the neck.My right tender point there makes my right ear itch all the time.Go ahead and giggle,I know it sounds funny! And yes I get the heated brain feeling too. As for your toe,I have heard other fibromites say they have this.I am concerned about your hip popping and the pain though.Have you seen a docotr about that? That could be arthritis. Basicly,I think you hit it right when you said " anything goes with fibro " lol. HOpe this helped some.Knowing the tender points and reading about what each of them can do should help you. Have a good day! Carole
Guest guest
I've heard several people say something like your #3. They can't wear ponytails because of the pulling, pain or burning. #4 sounds like you might have jarred a nerves somehow when you were getting up. My suggestion is that anything that isn't a normal pain for you should be checked out with your doctor. Darcy
Guest guest
Hi Jen, I'm . I identify with your joint pain. Mine is always more intense in my joints but is deep, dull and achy throughout and I get tingly pins and needles type in my hands and feet. Some ideas on the other stuff. Is your toe hot or swollen...could be gout. Sometimes pain with certain diseases can be 'referred' pain. as in, pain from gall bladder is frequently seen in the shoulders. NO clue on the ponytail. The hip thing I have had happen to me, matter of fact scared the crap out of a cop who was there when I happened cuz I screamed. Probably just tweaked the nerve or muscle there. I know we all get sick of running to the doctor just to hear its nothing more than our fibro (at least I do) I hate to act like a hypochodriac, but the one time I didn't go to the doctor nearly cost me my life. Always err on the side of caution and go in anyway if you think you have symptoms of another disease. Hope I helped. > Hello all... > My pain comes and goes and it manifests itself in many different ways but > most of the time it is in the form of sharp, stabbing pains that start at one > point and radiate outwards to the next available joint.
