Thank you so much for your love and concern!

The dentist said he would see me Wednesday and see about changing my antibiotic, but he still can't pull it. Also the swelling is increasing and now the whole left side of my face is swollen. The day just seems to be dragging! I watch TV but couldn't begin to tell you what I am watching. I am pacing, I can't sleep and I am just about going mad!

But, thank you for thinking of me, that means a lot!

I'm sorry to hear that you're having such a rough time. Back in February I had a tooth that had an infection in it and needed to be pulled. It was one of my wisdom tooth. Every night that tooth would wake me up. It was hurting so bad that it caused me to have a headache on the same side of that tooth. I was taking Darvocet for the pain and that was barely helping.

I know how it feels to be so much pain in your face. I think that that is one of the worst kind of a pain a human can have. I hope that they get you in sooner than August because that seems like an eternity. I also hope that you'll be able to get some kind of relief between now and your appointment. Try to take it easy.

Bad pain and dr. appt trouble!

Well Ladies and Gents, after a nearly impossible night of pain, I woke to the apple of my left cheek to be swollen about half the size of a walnut shell, and will throbbing pain through my cheek and jaw. I called my doctor,they said call my dentist sounds like dental. My dentist thinks it might be sinus but referred me to a oral surgeon because 2 teeth need to be extracted anyway. I called the surgeon thinking "ahhh, soon I will have some relief", then the secretary says "can you come in August 12th?" Well, I really might now need an eye doctor appointment as well, to return my eyes back into their sockets!!! lol Anyway, I said, my face is swollen, I am having throbbing pain and can't sleep or function and she said that my doctor will have to put me on an antibiotic. Well, I have been on an antibiotic for 1 week, and this hasn't helped! She said, well they will have to find one that works, but she will put me on a waiting list. It doesn't sound like they get many cancellations, so now I wait. I have to call my doctor back to see about another antibiotic. This makes me nervous because in 1990, I was hospitalized with C-Diff, an infection created from intermixing antibiotics. I was on medication for 6 months after this and was quite sick. So please PLEASE pray for me!!!

I always sympathize with someone that's having tooth pain. I feel just awful for you because I've been down that road and I had to suffer with that bad tooth for a whole month before I was able to get an antibiotic and extracted. I remember that disoreinted feeling well.

It's like you can't focus on anything but the pain. It's swelling so much and you're just wondering what's going to happen next. Well, just keep talking to us and tell us how you're fairing. Well, temporarily go insane right along with you! It will all be okay.

Yes you have my prayers for a fast cancellation so that you can get in very soon. Is it wrong to pray that someone gets hit by a bus and can't make it? Just kidding, but I will pray for you to get some antibiotics that will give you relief while waiting okay?

My neighbor lent me some Aleve, so hopefully that will help. Ladies, I feel absolutely miserable! Please pray for healing, comfort, pain relief, a sooner doctor's appt, and the right antibiotic.
