Do you also get an upset stomach? When I have a spell my stomach starts to churn, I start to sweat, I start getting dizzy and if I don't lay down I passout. I am exausted for what seems like days afterwards. I don't know if this is what you have, but I am giving you the link to the NDRF website. There are a lot of disorders on the site. You can find them if you click on the " disorders " tab on the left. http://www.ndrf.org/autonomic_disorders.htm I think the page on the neurocardiogenic sycope is very informational. If you would like more information click on the " home " tab on the left top corner. If you still have questions feel free to ask me or for more info contact your doctor. If he do not answer all your questions ask him to refer you to a good cardologist. If you have a spell like the one you experianced you should lay down where your at. Even if your in a store. I've been told this I don't know how many times by my cardiologist. I hope the site helps. ---------------------------------
Guest guest
Hi again. When I typed in the website for the neurocardiogenic sycope I forgot to tell you that is the disorders page. The neurocardiogenic sycope is down the page alittle. This url is the webpage. http://www.ndrf.org/ParoxymalAutonomicSyncope.htm Just thought I'd let you know. I must have been looking through the fog again. ---------------------------------
Guest guest
, I just looked at the page you suggested. I was diagnosed with Neurally Mediated Hypotension or Orthostatic Hypotension over 4 years ago. And told that they are the same thing. However, neither are listed on this page. Basically, my blood pressure drops when I stand up, but I never pass out. I just get really dizzy. Are you seeing a cardiologist for this? And does the treatment of this problem help with lessening the symptoms of fibro? As I was told it could.
Guest guest
~ I am seeing a cardologist. I've been seeing him since 2000. He is very helpful. I just went off my medication for the sycope and I did notice a increase in pain. I was on wellbutrin. I also have seen an increase of my symptoms for the sycope. Thank heavens I haven't passed out since Oct. I do try to listen to all my symptoms when they start to pop up, but sometimes I'm just too bull headed. That's what my husband tells me. Well, it's nearly time to get the kids up for school. Everyone have a good day. ~ ---------------------------------
