Guest guest
I'm just sticking to updates for now. I'm a little wiped out, but for a change it's from all the fun things we've been doing. Friday, our friends came over for a sleepover. Saturday, we spend the whole day with them at the swim club where my kids do their summer swim team. Some more friends joined us there. We did a whole picnic there, and when we got home in the evening we had a BBQ cook-out. It was great. Just very close friends, we enjoyed talking and watching our kids play. We all know each other way from before kids, were pregnant at approximately the same time, and are god-parents to one other's children (ok, does that make sense, I'm reading it and somehow it doesn't sound right). Sunday, we all had to get up early, as we were going rafting on the Delaware with a whole bunch of other friends. There was 15 of us. It was my kids father's day gift. We had 3 water rafts and did a 9 mile course, so we were gone pretty much the whole day as the trip each way to Delaware was about 2 hours. I was helping my hubby paddle, and was having plenty of fun, but guess what? Payback today. How else. At least I'm hurting from having fun, which is worth it. So, today I'm taking it easy. I just took the kids to their swim team practice at 8:30, then got back home and need to do the laundry. That's pretty much it for the rest of the day. Wednesday, we are going to the NJ State Fair. It's a great place for kids to have fun, I think it's much better than Great Adventures. They maybe don't have all the fancy rides, but they have much, much more than Great Adventure and there's not much waiting in lines. Also, they have more intermediate rides, where all three of my boys can go. On Thursday we're off to Sesame Place. I can't go on my own, as it's still a place where Arek can't go on some rides, and Kasper and Sebastian want to go with me. So I need a person to stay with Arek when I'm on a ride with the older two. My hubby can't take a day off, and this place is completely ridiculous on weekends. So since our friends are going on Thursday and they have a daughter Arek's age as well as a daughter Sebastian's age, we'll just help each other out. I still don't know whether we're going anywhere for the 4th of July weekend. ly, I think I prefer to stay home this time and maybe go to the beach on Saturday. We'll see what my hubby says. He's making up his mind. That's that for now. I'll write another update in a week or so. In the meantime Happy Birthday to all the birthday people, Happy Anniversary to all anniversaries, and Welcome all newbies. I hope all of you are having at least some of the fun I'm having, but if not, I hope you're having a pain free week. Mojo
