Make a cover letter to go with your resume’

and application. Explain in your letter you do not wish your supervisors to

know you are looking into the position. That sort of thing is done all of the

time. It sounds like it would be a better job for your health. Good luck.

There

was an ad in today's paper for an education director of the

city

Children's Museum. Obviously, I'm well-qualified for the

position and

while it, too, probably involves some nights and

weekends,

there wouldn't be the day-in, day-out LONG days of having

to control

teen-agers! Also, I teach outside of my home city, so the

35-minute

commute each way every day would be eliminated.

Should I

apply? I'd like to, just to have options, but I don't want

to upset or

offend my current principal if the museum would call him.

I'm afraid

of jeopardizing my current employment! What would you do?
