Before I had my transplant in Nov, 2002. I was sleeping at least 18 hours a day. My lab numbers were threw the roof. I can remember my AST being something like 200 and ALT the same or higher. My ALK PHOS was at least 1600, yes I said 1600. The doc's told my Mother that I had about two weeks left. But I understand what you are going through. I had to chance from Cipro to Bactrim and a few others every month. I also had a lot of bile backed up in my system. I was very very jaundiced. But now I am able to do what I want and I have no problems that I know of besides UC. If you have any questions about what I went through just let me know.
