Hi, all! Out of curiousity, has anyone tried to contact Mayo to participate in

this study? We tried contacting them through this link and also over the phone

and still haven't heard anything back.

Yes, I've contacted Mayo about the study. I called in the afternoon-sorry I

don't remember what day of the week- and spoke with .

It took a few weeks to get the release and then the survey in the mail. I

haven't gotten the stuff for the blood draw yet.

I just finished the survey and realized I don't have much of a family tree for

them to work with so I doubt my info is helpful. All my cousins and one of my

two Aunts are adopted, my brother is dead, I don't have kids. I only have one

living grandparent and my parents. I left a lot of pages blank. I always

thought I had a nice size extended family until that form. I guess its good

that all my adopted family members feel like biological family - until you do a

genetic survey.

I agree with Marie that the best idea is to contact

directly. I know that they would love more participants in this important

study.
