I was diagnosed with mono 27 years ago--but thought it must be a mistake,

since I thought that with mono, you had to be very, very sick--I didn't feel

unusually sick (just normally sick). I feel about as sick now as I did

then! My EBV titer was 1:6 when I had it tested in 1990.

Depression--I was so depressed the other night, I was trying to pack for a

weekend away, my husband started in on my--I couldn't stop crying for 2

days--I thought I was having a nervous breakdown and would have to be

hospitalized. I don't often cry like that anymore. Not sure how to handle

it, just focus on something that makes you happy, that you want to

accomplish?

I have some Emla cream, i'm not sure that i've used it right, as it has

never produced the numbing effect that it is supposed to.

Hi. All it really does is take the edge off. It

doesn't totally numb. Put it on very thick and cover

with a bandaid or that type of cover. I use it on my

neck and bottom of spine. In about 20 minutes or so I

notice that I am not in as much pain. I also rub it

in some too. Please e-mail baack if it helps. You

are the only one who answered my e-mail and I am new

to the group. Ginger
