Hi Barby,Could you explain the BCIR pouch? What is it, & how does it work? My j-pouch has constant pouchitis problems.Marie

I'm on the same dose post tx as I was pre tx - 1500 mg/day which was on the higher end pre tx but now I weigh a bit more. Still I think I will send this study to my hep and see what he says especially since psc hasn't been confirmed.

BCIR stands for Barnett continent intestinal reservoir. See

efficacy.

One of my co-worker's spouse had a BCIR, and ultimately had to go back

to an ileostomy due to recurring adhesions. If I remember correctly,

Barby has had very good experience with it.
