Guest guest
When I was pregnant with my second child I developed DVT. At first my calf just ached, it was painful enough that I went to the emerency room, where they determined that I had a pulled muscle and sent me home. Over night, my leg swelled up and became huge. It also turned very deep red and hurt a lot. That morning I was admitted to the hospital and began treatment for DVT. Please if your daughter has anything similar to what I described get it checked out. I waited a few days when the ache started, if I had known I might not have gotten quite as sick as I got. The treatment was fairly easy for it, bllod thinners and an antiboitic. Guest guest
I fogot to add that a simple way to check is to check for the puses on the top of the foot and to have the person lay down and relax their leg. Once relaxed have another person push the toes gentally toward their head, if that hurts, it could indicate DVT esoeciall if you cannot locate the pulses on the top of the foot or by the achiles tendon.
