Gwynn,

I cannot say for sure, although I do believe that a clot can move.

What I do know is that when I had DVT, I was misdiagnosed in the

emergency room and fortunately my GYN caught is the next day. If

your daughter's leg is so soar that she annot walk on it, I would

have her at the Dr.'s office this morning and ask them to

specifically check for a clot, especially since she did have a recent

surgical procedure. I hope she is better soon.

Yes that can happen and scarier than that a piece can make its way to her lungs.This is very dangerous!! PLEASE take her back to her doc or to the Er TODAY!!
