Guest guest
I have been taking zanaflex for the last two months and I think it helps. I do not have as much muscle pain especially in my legs at night. So far I haven't had any side effects. All of a sudden I have terrible hip pain only in one hip. The doctor is saying it's arthritic changes. Seems rather weird to me since it came on suddenly and runs from my hip to my knee. None of the other joints in my body are flaring up so why would just one? Any ideas? (Oh I have 2 kinds of arthritis and fibromyalgia) Thanks,
Guest guest
, It strange, I too have been having more hip pain that usual lately. It goes from my hips down to my knees in both sides. I've also had pain in my arms, shoulders and upper back. The past week has been really bad for me with pain. The fatigue has been horrible for months, but the pain increased just recently. I don't know if the weather has anything to do with it, but we've been having a really cool and rainy spring here. In the past week, we've had plenty of rain and on those days, the pain is worse. I've tried Flexerall and a few other muscle relaxants, but I'm not able to tolerate them. Today, although sunny, the temp didn't get over 50 degrees and I was zonked out all afternoon. I'm wondering, which of you have thyroid problems in addition to your fibromyalgia? I have been tested for the Auto-antibodies for thyroid disease and mine are high, but my thyroid tests always come back within normal limits. Having the auto-antibodies shows I have the potential for thyroid (I have two out of three sisters with thyroid disease). It would make sense since I have such horrible fatigue. My right side is far worse than the left; I believe you are probably experiencing the symptoms/deterioration of the combination of all three. Mine has gotten very severe again, and I am so glad that my surgeon said that my neck was healed enough and that I can start taking Methotrexate again! ~~~~
