Guest guest
New Christmas theme for a new week. There wasn't any remembrance day ones, so we'll just have to remember the fallen ones without inspiration.Today brings lots of new adventures at the PA hospital. Yesterday's visit had my liver function blood tests climbing sky high, so we are off for an ultrasound this morning, followed by an urgent biopsy. The ultrasound will rule out a blood clot in the liver, the biopsy will determine if rejection is occuring and the degree, thus the treatment. Most episodes can be treated with increase in medication, so we are not panicking yet. Wish me luck, I'm a bit of a sook still with needles. Funnily enough my first liver biopsy was done on Melbourne cup day in 2000...funny how you remember these things! On a side note I wish a speedy recovery to my neice Becky, who landed in hospital on the weekend having her appendix out. Hope you are starting to feel better by now. Lots of love Penny T
